Squeaky was the third puppy born of Sheba's litter.  She came later in the evening after a difficult birth.  Squeaky was (and still is) the tallest and longest of the puppies, and was born breach.  Fortunately, Sheba had no problems delivering Squeaky and the birth was all natural without any human intervention.  Sheba did need some coaxing and encouragement, since by that time she was extremely tired and weak.  Squeaky got her name from something she did as a puppy - she squeaked like a mouse all the time!  We know it was her way of "barking" since her vocal cords weren't mature enough to actually bark, but the cute little squeaking noises are what gave her the name.

Squeaky is one of the most difficult dogs to take photos of.  She never stays still long enough to take a picture of her.  She is the most active of all the dogs, and is always on the go running around, checking something out, or chasing after something.
