Surprise was the first puppy born of Sheba's litter.  I'll never forget the day I first saw her.  Wiley was barking at something in the cage which was in our bedroom.  I go in to look and he's barking at a tiny, cold and wet puppy which at first, I thought was a dog toy.   A closer look tells me that it was a puppy.  I scoop it up, wrap it in towels and rush to the vet with the puppy and Sheba.  Poor Sheba had this look of fear and shock on her face, and well...I was just as surprised myself!  Shown below are photographs of Surprise.
